This morning, a news story broke that revealed the president and his allies are suddenly very concerned about his re-election in 2020 after all the political damage that his self-inflicted shutdown inflicted on him, not to mention the looming release of the Special Prosecutor’s report on the alleged collusion between Donald Trump and agents of the Russian Federation.

There are many traps and pitfalls that Trump must avoid just to make it to the 2020 election — ironically, most of his own creation — let alone win it. He could be impeached; resign to avoid being impeached, or even see his abused and neglected corporeal form finally give out under him.
