Ocasio-Cortez just trolled Republicans for losing their minds over a video of her dancing [WATCH]

Yesterday’s most ludicrous “story” by far was the spread of a viral video of Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez during her college years dancing around on a rooftop. It was a lighthearted, endearing clip that would make any rational person like her even more, regardless of one’s feelings about her politics.

Of course, the troglodytes that inhabit the MAGA corners of the internet are the furthest thing from rational, and so they proceeded to attack her, peddling some convoluted argument that the dancing somehow proved that AOC had a privileged upbringing and as such has no right to talk about income inequality. It made zero sense, which is par for the course for Republicans these days, especially when it comes to the freshman Congresswoman. They are confused and terrified by her.

Now, Ocasio-Cortez has responded to the weird, manufactured right-wing rage over the innocuous video by recording a new one of her briefly dancing outside her new Congressional offices. As usual, she is proving herself capable of running circles around her critics and showcasing the trademark wit that is quickly making her one of the left’s most beloved figures.

“I hear the GOP think women dancing are scandalous. Wait until they found out Congresswoman dance too! Have a great weekend everyone :)” she wrote.

It’s presumably only a matter of time before Trump fans grow irate over this video too, but every time they lob some harebrained attack at her they only succeed in making her more popular and rendering themselves more absurd and bitter. They’re no match for her, and if these incidents are any indication AOC has a long political career ahead of herself.
