FOX News just stunned their viewers by torching Trump for his awful behavior during troop visit [WATCH]

Few things are as distasteful as watching President Trump turn any and all public appearances into an opportunity for self-promotion, no matter how serious or somber the occasion.

From his rant to about Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Apprentice ratings at the National Prayer Breakfast to the time he nearly told a crowd of thousands of Boy Scouts about a yacht orgy he once attended, rare has it been the public even that Trump has decided to hold his tongue and behave as a real leader should.

His most recent debacle — the impromptu visit to U.S. troop at Iraq’s al-Asad airbase — has even managed to turn his loudest cheerleaders against him. FOX News contributor Julie Banderas on Outnumbered leveled some surprisingly sharp criticism at him, saying that she “really had an issue” with him disrespecting the troops by calling the United States “suckers.”

“I would never consider us, as a country, as the United States, ‘suckers.'” We have always led the fight in every major war. Military men and women, I believe, deserve way more respect than that.”

Banderas went on to point out that by calling us “suckers,” he’s disparaging the lives lost and the sacrifices so many have made in the service of this nation. “Oh, so my son or daughter was a ‘sucker’ when they were fighting for our freedom?” asked Banderas from the perspective of a mother or father who lost their child in America’s endless wars.

While Lisa Kennedy tried to defend the president by saying that his words “speak to their bravery” for “putting themselves in harm’s way for incursions and wars that don’t make sense,” contributor Jessica Tarlov pointed out that that could only be true if Trump “had gone and made this trip, which he absolutely should have done, and not used it as a campaign rally.”

When even the sycophantic propagandists at FOX News are criticizing Trump, you can be sure that he’s gone too far. It takes a lot for the conservative network to speak out against Trump, but it appears that they can’t even sweep this under the rug.

Of course, they didn’t bother mentioning that Trump literally lied to the troops about how much of a raise they were getting in order to make himself look better.
