Yesterday, President Trump’s son Eric took to Twitter to slam George Conway, husband of Counselor to the President, Kellyanne Conway. His manufactured outrage was geared towards a tweet George Conway sent out earlier in the day accusing President Trump of witness tampering.

In a staggeringly hypocritical tweet, Eric Trump shed crocodile tears over the “ugliness” and “utter disrespect” he claims to see in George Conway’s constant attacks on the current administration. Of course, Eric’s own father is the world’s most vocal purveyor of ugly politics, having disrespected both opponents and allies alike nonstop for the past several years.

George Conway hit back at Eric Trump by retweeting some brutal messages from other Twitter users, including author and theological intellectual Reza Aslan, a man who saw his show on CNN canceled after tweeting out anti-Trump sentiments.

Aslan pointed out that George Conway, unlike Donald Trump, didn’t pay a pornstar for sex shortly after the birth of his child. In other words, if Eric Trump really wants to confront ugliness and disrespect he should start by focusing on his own brutish, cruel father and the horrible way he has treated all his wives. It was a succinct, brutal deconstruction of Eric Trump’s staggeringly bad faith rhetoric.

Another user fired a broader barrage, targeting the entire Trump family for the degradations they’ve visited on our republic. @Ianbassin pointed out how Donald and his children constantly flout the law and disrespect the founding principles of the United States. He ended by calling Donald Trump a “terrible person” whose actions are “horrible.

George Conway retweeting such a direct attack on the president is perhaps his most overt, brutal opposition to the Trump administration yet, and hopefully, he continues to speak out and fight against the evil that his wife is helping to propagate.
