President Trump’s adult sons are like a cartoonist’s unsubtle stab at the archetype of bumbling trust fund children. They are incapable of stringing together coherent thoughts of their own and seem to exist solely to lavish their equally idiotic father with undeserved praise.

Few figures better represent the moral and intellectual rotting of modern American conservatism. In saner times, they would have been laughed off the national stage the moment they slithered into the limelight.

Today, Eric Trump took to Twitter to pen an incredibly hypocritical message, reminding much of the country why they despise him so much in the first place. He attacked George Conway, the husband of Trump’s counselor and former campaign manager Kellyanne Conway for the “utter disrespect” he believes he has shown towards “his wife, her career, place of work, and everything she has fought SO hard to achieve.”
Trump’s son made the absurd claim that Conway’s behavior might be the worst show of ugliness in modern politics, conveniently ignoring his own father’s constant gross and hateful rhetoric.
The tweet was presumably a kneejerk reaction to George Conway’s tweet earlier today in which implied that President Trump engaged in witness tampering. Conway has been a consistent critic of the current administration despite his wife’s continued loyalty to the man she helped get elected.

As is so often the case with Trump’s imbecilic son, the tweet quickly blew up in his face. One user pointed out that Kellyanne Conway herself is guilty of ugly backroom politics, and in fact once tried to get a reporter to quote her off the record as she insulted and attacked her husband. It was the perfect, succinct response to Eric Trump’s ridiculous tweet.

Of all the ugliness in politics, the utter disrespect George Conway shows toward his wife, her career, place of work, and everything she has fought SO hard to achieve, might top them all. @KellyannePolls is great person and frankly his actions are horrible.

Lol she tried to get a reporter to quote her off the record bashing him so he wouldn't know it was her. pic.twitter.com/A5HOrVpw1L

Many other Twitter users were quick to point out the rank hypocrisy on display.

A member of the Trump family calling someone out for being disrespectful? That's rich. Thank you for the laugh, Eric.

Only a Trump spawn could look around at the current state of political lunacy and think “wow. George Conway disagreeing with his pathologically lying wife over her constant and laughable defenses of the most provably corrupt president in history is the worst thing so far!”

So disagreeing publicly is worse than say, leaving your wife home with a 4 month old and having unprotected sex with porn star? or cheating with someone and having it all over the papers for your children to read? or, oh never mind, you have obviously forgotten who your father is

After this, Eric Trump might finally start thinking twice before sending out one of his inane tweets.
