Trump just exposed his panic in a frenzied, unhinged Twitter attack on Robert Mueller

President Trump took to Twitter this morning to launch yet another attack on Special Counsel Robert Mueller in a transparent attempt to undermine the former FBI director’s credibility and to paint himself and his team as the real victims in all this.

Beset by the news that his campaign manager Paul Manafort was just exposed lying to federal investigators and had been holding secret meetings with the founder of the transparency organization which published Hillary Clinton’s hacked emails, Julian Assange of Wikileaks, Trump decided to fan the flames of conspiracy and tried to paint Special Counsel Mueller and his gang of “Angry Democrats” as operating outside the law on a partisan mission to stop him:

His ranting and ravings grow more incomprehensible by the day. The “Justice” Department that he’s complaining about is now under his control, and nobody involved on Mueller’s team has anything to do with the Clinton Foundation.

At this point, he’s just jamming together as many buzzwords and boogeymen he can into a single tweet in order to try to convince his followers and the rest of the world that something illicit is afoot.

One has to wonder how long it’s going to be before he accuses Mueller of being in league with George Soros in order to fund the caravan of immigrants to invade the United States.

But as always, the biggest takeaway is how hard the president is projecting. Throughout his career, Trump is notorious for accusing others of what he himself is guilty of; so when you see him screech about how Mueller is doing “tremendous damage to our criminal justice system,” know that it is Trump himself who is doing that by undermining the Special Counsel’s credibility and doing everything he can to obstruct justice in a doomed attempt to save his own skin.
