Melania just provoked a civil war in the White House after publicly demanding firing of top official

In a stunning and unprecedented display of the constant infighting which has wracked the Trump administration from day one, the office of the First Lady is now directly clashing with the President’s chief of staff, John Kelly, in a conflict that likely will lead to his departure from the White House.

NBC News is reporting that the feud began earlier this year when Kelly refused to promote her aides to higher positions within the administration before finally giving in this June; the First Lady’s office has also taken serious issue with Kelly’s refusal to make space for Melania’s aides on Air Force One, presidential motorcades, and hotel arrangements when traveling abroad. The clashes have gotten so bad that seven sources in the White House told NBC News that it may finally push Kelly out the door.

Kelly isn’t the only one to provoke the First Lady’s ire over travel arrangements; this afternoon, the First Lady’s office publicly called for the firing of deputy national security adviser Mira Ricardel, a close ally of National Security Advisor John Bolton who made the mistake of quarreling with the first lady’s staff over seating arrangements during FLOTUS’ recent trip to Egypt and territorial battles over use of National Security Council resources.

Contrasting reports from the Wall Street Journal and the White House paint a picture of utter chaos inside the White House, as Ricardel may or may not have just been literally kicked out of the Trump administration.

Like all drama in the Trump White House, these feuds are just incredibly petty and are a sharp reminder that while First Lady Melania Trump does receive an awful lot of undeserved hate and criticism for her past personal decisions, she is still just as much of a self-obsessed and venomous snake as her husband is.

Though at the end of the day, if Melania ends up kicking out notorious racist John Kelly and neocon ghoul John Bolton’s right-hand woman while souring his standing in the White House, she may have just done us all a huge favor.
