Trump just attacked CNN’s April Ryan, and her response is defiant

This morning, a furious President Trump continued his war on the media by predictably singling out a black, female reporter to harangue and demean for daring to ask him questions about the suppression of African-American votes.

Speaking to the media outside of the White House, Trump insulted CNN political analyst and Washington bureau chief for American Urban Radio Networks April Ryan as a “loser” and “who “doesn’t know what the hell she is doing.”

He went on to demand — somehow with a straight face — that the media give him and his press secretary, the shameless liar Sarah Huckabee Sanders “more respect,” even though he had just gotten done being incredibly rude to a reporter for no reason other than he didn’t like the questions she asked.

In response, April Ryan took the high road — but refused to back down one inch.

On Wednesday, the morning after the midterms, an incredibly ornery President Trump yelled at Ryan and told her multiple times to “sit down” like she was a child in an absolutely disgusting display of patronizing condescenion and palpable racial-misogynist animosity.

While conservatives have been busy crying crocodile tears over the incivility of recent protests outside of white supremacist FOX anchor Tucker Carlson’s house, April Ryan has had to hire a personal security detail thanks to all the death threats she gets after Trump singled her out and attacked her.

The president’s attacks on the media inspired one man to mail pipe bombs to over a dozen major Democratic figures; one shudders to think at what heavily armed delusional racists might try to do to a black, female reporter just trying to do her job. Trump knows exactly what he’s doing when he attacks April Ryan, and it’s beyond appalling to see him treat the members of his press corps like this.
