A Republican lawmaker was just exposed in a humiliating porn and punching scandal

Another day, another “family values” scandal for a Republican lawmaker. New Hampshire state Congressman Frank Sapareto has been accused of assaulting porn producer Jonathan Carter, who says that Sapareto punched him during a dispute over his performance in a porn film.

Carter filed a civil lawsuit in California against Sapareto, who claims that he is being extorted and compared himself to Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, who was credibly accused of sexual assault by multiple women.

Sapareto responded by claiming he was being “extorted” by Carter for $10,000. “This is so absurd. Nobody is giving credibility to this except the press. Even the police know it’s false…I know it’s juicy and it’s a week before the election. I know how Judge Kavanaugh feels. I’ve served my community for over 20 years. People know me here. This stuff that this dirtbag is saying is obviously just to discredit me.”

Sapareto says that the two were just recording “tourism films” together, but film footage examined by New Hampshire Public Radio clearly shows Sapareto nude with a woman and emails between the two “also detail the casting of actresses and advertisements on the site Sexyjobs.com.”

It is unclear what kind of tourism films might involve his nudity and “sexy jobs.” In addition, a brief examination of the extremely not safe for work Twitter account belonging to a Jonathan Carter in Orange County, CA, (@AGrowlingHound), which is full of what appears to be amateur pornography, would lead us to conclude that they were, in fact, filming adult content.

While there isn’t anything wrong with dabbling in a little amateur filmmaking, adult or not, the Congressman’s “family values” agenda — which includes voting to legalize discrimination against LGBT Americans, draconian anti-abortion laws, and voting against paid family/medical leave — does not really allow for the participation in adult filming.

Nor does it allow for assaulting people, which Sapareto has done in the past. In 2013, he was convicted of simple assault for shoving his girlfriend’s daughter but was not punished for his actions.

Sapareto is up for re-election in just six short days. The people of New Hampshire deserve better than this hypocritical porno-punching politician.
