While President Donald Trump and his administration cozy up to brutal dictators and genocidal maniacs like Saudi Arabia’s Mohammed bin Salman, Russia’s Vladimir Putin, and the Philippines’ Rodrigo Duterte, our closest allies are getting nothing but derision and rudeness.
In particular, the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, has been treated with uncalled for and frankly mystifying rudeness by Trump and his team. From the beginning of his presidency, Trump has been unnecessarily harsh on Canada, accusing our longtime ally and trading partner of attempting to get one over us and provoking a trade war by slapping millions of dollars worth of tariffs on Canadian products.
Following a very public spat with Trudeau over climate change and his trade policy at the Group of 7 meeting earlier this year, Trump’s team succeeded in negotiating a new trade deal between Canada and Mexico to replace NAFTA (which was essentially NAFTA with some minor changes).

But that doesn’t seem to have cooled anyone’s head, since White House economic advisor Larry Kudlow let slip what the Trump team really thinks of Trudeau in a set of bragging remarks to the racist scum-suckers at Spectator magazine, which has made headlines recently for appalling cartoons of tennis superstar Serena Williams and defense of Nazi soldiers in the Second World War.
At the invitation-only dinner, Kudlow boasted that “A friend of mine in the White House, who will go unnamed, said, ‘You know, I know why you’re supporting this deal Larry, it’s because we made a deal. We didn’t walk away, we didn’t end it, we made a deal. Alright? ‘Spite that little punk kid running Canada, we still made it. And I’ve had some wonderful run-ins with him.”

Just because Trudeau isn’t a decaying lich whose brain is actively leaking out of his head (like Trump, most of his advisors, and the majority of the Senate) doesn’t mean that he’s somehow unqualified to do the job he’s done quite successfully for several years now.
It’s absolutely disgraceful to see Trump and his team treat a leader of Trudeau’s caliber with such disrespect while falling over themselves to accommodate murderers and despots.
