Reporters just uncovered a new disturbing incident involving an “incoherently drunk” Kavanaugh

The legitimacy of the United States Supreme Court was dealt a staggering blow today with the confirmation and swearing in of credibly accused sexual assaulter Brett Kavanaugh. Millions of Americans now see the formerly venerable institution as the new playground of a lying attempted rapist and will view all future rulings handed down by it through just such a lens.

There were numerous reasons to oppose Kavanaugh’s confirmation, from his unhinged partisan performance in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee to the numerous sexual misconduct allegations leveled against him, to damning stories told by former classmates which paint him as an obnoxious, violent drunk.

Now, a shocking story has emerged that attests to that latter characterization and makes it even clearer that Kavanaugh shouldn’t be a judge of any stripe, let alone one of our most powerful ones.

The Wall Street Journal reports that the FBI received thousands of tips on Kavanaugh from concerned persons, including a notarized statement from a truck owner who claims that in 1986 in New Haven, Connecticut a drunk college student smashed the “black cargo box” in the bed of his Ford Courier. The owner confronted the student.

“I yelled again at the person, and realized it was Brett Kavanaugh,” the truck driver claimed in his statement.

The owner adds that the future Supreme Court justice was “uncontrollably, incoherently drunk,” a description in keeping with the kind of self-destructive drinking behavior that some of his accusers and former peers have also attributed to Kavanaugh. The truck owner claims that when Kavanaugh was “heavily drunk” he was known to become “belligerent, offensive and even possibly criminal.”

Argie O’Neal, who attended Yale along with Kavanaugh at the time of the alleged property destruction claims he was friends with the anonymous truck owner and was told by him Kavanaugh had “broken into” his Ford Courier.

Kavanaugh allegedly refused to pay for the damage when confronted about it at a meeting of the Truth and Courage secret society and currently denies that the incident ever occurred.

Clearly, this is a man who is unfit to preside over our legal system. Republicans have forced him on us, and they must be made to pay at the ballot box accordingly.
