The Mayor of Washington D.C. just brutally trolled Trump over the cancelling of his military parade

Last night, the word came down that President Trump’s highly controversial and exorbitantly expensive $92 million “military parade” has been delayed by at least a year over concerns about the cost, which prompted the President to cancel it in a sad attempt to avoid losing face.

The president took to Twitter and blamed the local Washington D.C. government for setting the price too high despite clearly having had no conception of what an enormous undertaking a military parade would be and how high the security risks at an event like that would be.

The Mayor of D.C., Muriel Bowser, quickly took to Twitter to troll the “reality star” in the White House and added one of the president’s own trademark ending jabs — sad!

We can all breathe a sigh of relief knowing that we’ll be free of this obscene display of militarism and instead be able to spend Veterans’ Day in quiet contemplation of the appalling human toll from our endless overseas wars and how we owe it to our veterans to reconsider a failed foreign policy that has accomplished little in fifteen years but created more traumatized veterans and squandered countless billions of taxpayer dollars.
