A veterans’ group is celebrating the demise of President Trump’s military parade with a clever bit of trolling.
VoteVets, a veterans group that has been a prominent critic of the President and has been blocked by him on Twitter, announced that they filed a Letter of Intent with the city of Washington D.C. about holding a 5k race for Veterans Day around the national mall next year: “one K for each of Donald Trump’s military deferments.”
FYI: VoteVets has submitted a Letter of Intent, with DC, to do a 5K around the National Mall, for Veterans Day 2019.

If approved, the move would force Trump to publicly kick out a veterans’ group from holding a Veteran’s Day race in order to have his parade, which he was forced to cancel due to its staggering $92 million cost
Donald Trump infamously used his family’s influence and lied about his “bone spurs” to get five separate draft deferments for the Vietnam War. He later compared the risk of contracting an STD from all the unprotected sex he was allegedly having to “own personal Vietnam.”
The VoteVets group have found an ingenious way to both throw a wrench in Trump’s absurd parade plans and expose his hypocrisy for all the world to see.
