That Trump didn’t expect drama from a reality television star is a testament to his dismal judgment. Amid the shocking news that former Director of Communications for the Office of Public Liaison Omarosa Manigault-Newman had recorded conversations within Trump’s White House and used them to promote her tell-all book set to be released, the president took to Twitter today to castigate his former staffer.

Wacky Omarosa, who got fired 3 times on the Apprentice, now got fired for the last time. She never made it, never will. She begged me for a job, tears in her eyes, I said Ok. People in the White House hated her. She was vicious, but not smart. I would rarely see her but heard….

…really bad things. Nasty to people & would constantly miss meetings & work. When Gen. Kelly came on board he told me she was a loser & nothing but problems. I told him to try working it out, if possible, because she only said GREAT things about me – until she got fired!

While I know it’s “not presidential” to take on a lowlife like Omarosa, and while I would rather not be doing so, this is a modern day form of communication and I know the Fake News Media will be working overtime to make even Wacky Omarosa look legitimate as possible. Sorry!

Most tellingly, imagine the level of narcissism it takes that, despite maintaining that Omarosa was “nothing but problems,” “vicious,” and “not smart,” Trump kept her because she complimented him.

Manigault Newman, who first appeared with Trump on “Celebrity Apprentice” before serving in the White House, admitted that she was offered a $15,000 per month contract to stay silent after being fired.

The hush money payment is only the latest in what has become a long list of women whose silence Trump attempted to buy, including – and most prominently – porn star Stormy Daniels, who has risen to fame with her candid disclosure of Trump’s behavior.
Manigault Newman, for her part, denied the offer, opting instead to go ahead with her book, “Unhinged: An Insider Account of the Trump White House,” excerpts of which have been released to several news outlets.
She has leveraged the honesty of the book against several recordings she took from people in the White House, including the president himself.
I mean, Trump's response to Omarosa getting fired is some Tommy Wiseau-inspired acting. pic.twitter.com/FVNUL5n9T6

Trump may have promised to hire the “best people” when he entered the White House, but this ongoing exodus of disgruntled former sycophants is a commentary on just how unqualified they actually were to serve this country. And the same goes for the man sitting in the Oval Office, as well.
