President Trump’s feud with the media got worse on Friday after he announced he was holding a “news conference” and then proceeded to take no questions afterwards, instead deciding to turn his back and flee into the safety of the White House.
GREAT GDP numbers just released. Will be having a news conference soon!

After assembling the media in order to boast about the strong economic growth in the second quarter of 2018, he turned his back and walked away without responding to any of the questions, especially these shouted queries about his former lawyer Michael Cohen, who made it quite clear that he’s turned against the President and will not be taking the fall for him.

The White House press pool and reporters across the country, already angry with the president over his decision to ban CNN reporter Kaitlan Collins from a Wednesday press conference because she asked “inappropriate questions,” took to Twitter to shame the President for tricking them into attending what ended up being just a speech.
Actually a "news conference" means questions and answers. Different from making a statement to the press. https://t.co/hvfcmvGoDo

That was NOT "a news conference." Trump took NO questions, walking away as reporter shouted to ask if ex-lawyer Cohen is lying (that Trump knew in advance of June '16 Trump Tower meeting with a Kremlin-linked attorney). https://t.co/hpZgPS2E1h

As the President’s legal troubles grow worse by the day and the backlash to his constant flip-flopping on Russia grows even louder, the president has been behaving increasingly hostile and disrespectful towards the media.
It’s disgraceful to see our so-called leader turn his back and run from questions he’s going to have to answer someday; the fact that he’d rather throw away his chance to explain himself to the nation and do it in a courtroom instead tells you everything you need to know about whether or not Trump knew about the secret meeting between his campaign team and a Kremlin-linked Russian lawyer.
