Trump was just busted hiding from White House reporters and gave a humiliating excuse

The president’s war against the media took an embarrassing turn on Thursday morning as Donald Trump pulled the laziest trick in the book in order to avoid facing their questions.

Trump took a motorcade to Joint Base Andrews instead of crossing the south lawn to a helicopter. The media usually asks him questions on his walk and some of his most ridiculous statements have been made from the south lawn — but today, the president chose to hide in his limousine and thus not have to talk to the media.

His excuse? Bad weather.

It’s obvious that this is just an extraordinarily lazy way for Trump to avoid having to deal with the White House press pool, who are likely to be quite agitated today after he punished CNN reporter Kaitlan Collins for asking questions he didn’t like by banning her from a press conference.

The president’s war on our free press gets more disgraceful by the day, and this latest “dog ate my homework” stunt is about as low as it gets.
