Photos just revealed Trump made a highly incriminating handwritten edit to his Putin defense walkback script

Doubtlessly pressured into damage control mode by his aides and handlers, President Trump reluctantly held a press conference today to walk back his comments yesterday disparaging our intelligence services and their nigh-unanimous conclusion that the Russian Federation interfered in the 2016 election on Trump’s behalf.

His defense? He “misspoke.”

In a truly astounding turn of events, the President of the United States is asking us to believe that an entire year and a half of him attacking our intelligence agencies, the Justice Department, and the Special Counsels investigation is somehow negated by on obviously false admission that he “forgot” to say “wouldn’t” instead of “would.”

But he still refused to say the words “Russia interfered in our election,” continually hedging his words and doing everything he could to avoid speaking ill of our rivals across the Pacific.

Of course, it’s not hard to read between the lines to find out the truth, especially since Trump literally wrote “THERE WAS NO COLUSION” [sic] in between the lines of his press conference remarks.

To make matters worse, if you zoom in on the photograph, you can see that the words “anyone involved in meddling to justice” crossed out – and while he may have crossed it out because the perpetually dysfunctional writing team at the White House made a series of glaring typos and missing words, he didn’t replace the language about bringing those responsible to justice.

This is clearly just the absolute thinnest of mea culpas that Republicans facing pressure from voters and the media can use to excuse the President’s remarks and to justify their continued support for his heinous agenda.

President Trump has no intention of blaming Russia for their meddling in the 2016 election, no intention of bringing them to justice, and no intention of doing anything to keep them from doing it again.
