John Legend was just confronted by the media about Huckabee Sanders. His response is epic

In the same way Senator Jeff Flake consistently lives up to the colloquial definition of his last name, so does musical prodigy and beautiful tenor John Legend.

The singer-songwriter and husband to everyone’s favorite tweeter, Chrissy Teigen, is no stranger to political discourse. Both he and his wife’s social media feeds are frequently littered with political commentary, typically taking aim at Trump and his disastrous presidency.

Upon hearing the news of the Trump administration’s “zero-tolerance” immigration policy that shoved thousands of children into cages, Legend and Teigen donated $72,000 per family member (including their two children) for a total of $288,000 to the ACLU and their efforts to uncage the kids and reunite them with their families.

Although Trump ceremoniously signed an executive order ending the “zero-tolerance” policy, there are still thousands of children affected by the policy prior to the EO locked in government-funded concentration camps, and no one from the Trump administration has yet to put forth a plan bring families back together.

Neither Teigen nor Legend have forgotten that fact, so when the pair was spotted by TMZ reporters outside of a restaurant in Los Angeles and asked about their opinion on “civility” toward Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the lying face of a lying administration, Legend found opportunity to turn a useless question into a powerful statement.

“Ask me, ‘should we be reuniting 2000 kids with their families?’ Ask me that,” Legend challenged the reporter, who only managed to squeak out “should we be reuniting-” before Legend cut him off with his epic answer.

“Yes, we should. I don’t care about fucking Sarah Sanders. Reunite the fucking kids with their families, and then we’ll talk about Sarah Sanders and her fucking dinners.

With that, Legend proceeded to join his wife inside of their car before pulling away, leaving the question of whether we need to be kind to Sarah Huckabee Sanders in the gutter, exactly where the professional liar belongs.
