The perpetrator of today’s horrifying mass shooting at the Capital Gazette has finally been identified, thanks to facial recognition software. When he was apprehended, the killer, a 38-year-old white male, had no I.D. on him and had reportedly damaged his fingers to prevent his prints from being used to identify him – but technology proved capable of solving the puzzle.

The shooter has been identified as Jarrod Ramos who had a history of beef with the Capital Gazette and attempted to sue them in the past – and failed.

In what will sadly come as a surprise to nobody at this point, Ramos has a history of abuse against women, like so many other mass shooters before him.

A Twitter account that appears to be Jarrod W. Ramos has been identified, with a haunting bio that boasted of “making corpses of corrupt careers and corporate entities.”
It contains only one political reference – a defense of Donald Trump – and the rest of the 857 bizarre tweets are almost uniformly curse-filled complaints about Capital Gazette and the Anne Arundel County courts.

All signs appear that this is the handiwork of a mentally unstable individual whose grievances with the Capital Gazette festered into a murderous obsession, which he finally acted upon.
