Meghan McCain is tired of President Trump’s attacks on her father, Senator John McCain (R-AZ).
Trump went after Senator McCain tonight at his superfluous rally in Duluth, Minnesota tonight with a gratuitous attack on the Arizona Republican for his role in preventing the president’s attempts to repeal Obamacare and deprive more than 20 million people of the affordable health care that actually covers what needs covering without pre-existing conditions restrictions.
“We had a gentlemen way into the morning hours, go thumbs down,” Trump said. “He went thumbs down.”
That the vast majority of American should be thankful for Senator McCain’s act of bravery in the face of the evil machinations of all but a couple of other members of his corporately-owned party was ignored by all but one woman in the crowd who could be heard shouting back at the president:

“He’s a war hero! He’s a war hero!”
Trump either did not hear her or simply decided to ignore her, but the fact that hers was the only voice heard in opposition to the president’s derogatory attitude toward Senator McCain demonstrates how completely Trumpism has slithered into the veins of the Republican electorate like a slimy serpent filled with poisonous venom.
Meghan McCain, however, did hear the president’s remarks, and she replied to a response to an account of Trump’s comments tweeted out by The New York Times’ White House correspondent Maggie Haberman.
McCain, who is dying, has this acted out by Trump at every opportunity. https://t.co/8YLupSYk0M

The Senator’s daughter couldn’t help but chime in about how she felt about Trump’s heartless mocking of the Senator for his vote of conscience, a concept that Trump’s insidious mind just couldn’t comprehend.
And it never stops being gross. https://t.co/4brGHJSUf4

Why Meghan McCain would expect anything better from the president who has attacked the Arizona Senator as not a war hero because he likes heroes who aren’t captured is unknown, but by this point, the only expectation that will invariably be fulfilled is that anytime Trump opens his mouth. something vile, false, and malicious will emerge.
