President Trump just launched into a furious tweetstorm, raging at former New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman and his replacement Barbara Underwood for daring to bring him to justice for him and his family’s egregious and shameless use of his personal charity, the Donald J. Trump Foundation, as a personal piggy-bank, money-laundering front, tax-evasion vehicle, and bribery dispenser.

The sleazy New York Democrats, and their now disgraced (and run out of town) A.G. Eric Schneiderman, are doing everything they can to sue me on a foundation that took in $18,800,000 and gave out to charity more money than it took in, $19,200,000. I won’t settle this case!…

….Schneiderman, who ran the Clinton campaign in New York, never had the guts to bring this ridiculous case, which lingered in their office for almost 2 years. Now he resigned his office in disgrace, and his disciples brought it when we would not settle.

Trump’s smears against the “sleazy” New York Democrats is honestly not too far from the mark; after all, who would know better than Trump since he and his family have been thick with them for decades?

Just look at how Democratic District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. received a $10,000 donation from the Trump family and then suddenly decided to drop a criminal case against Don Jr. and Ivanka for serious real estate fraud.

Eric Schneiderman mothballed the Trump Foundation nearly two years ago. The people deserve an answer as to why it took so long for what appears to be an open-and-shut lawsuit to be filed – and why it didn’t happen until after Schneiderman resigned in disgrace for sexual misconduct.
No matter the answer, though, it’s far past time that the President was held accountable for his decades of grift and corruption, and the fact that this lawsuit coincides with Trump’s birthday is just the icing on top of the irony cake.
Between the Mueller investigation, the Stormy Daniels investigation, the emoulements lawsuits, and now the Trump foundation corruption, something has to eventually stick and send the President packing off to prison, where he belongs.
