Chrissy Teigen and John Legend just sent Trump a “birthday card” and it’s breaking the internet

The world does not deserve power couple Chrissy Teigen and John Legend. Between his seductive baritone and her irresistible social media presence, the pair connects with Americans in such a profound, genuine way it seems almost too good to be true.

That’s at least what the likes of Donald Trump would hope of the über-talented duo, but it’s simply not the case.

The Teigen-Legends are everything they claim to be which they proved this morning in a tweet posted initially by Teigen and later retweeted by Legend.

Both husband and wife said simply, “Happy birthday, @RealDonaldTrump,” accompanied by this powerful message penned by Teigen:

“John and I are outraged to see and hear the horror stories of immigrant families seeking asylum and refuge in America being ripped apart due to the inhumane policies of the Trump administration. These actions are cruel, anti-family and go against everything we believe this country should represent.”

Teigen begins by stating the obvious because in a country run by a toddler instated by people willing to blindly follow said toddler, sometimes the obvious is all they can handle.

Teigen proceeds to tout the incredible work done by the ACLU, noting that they work tirelessly to fight not only for immigrant rights, but “reproductive rights, voting rights, criminal justice reform, LGBT rights, 1st amendment rights and holding the Trump administration accountable whenever possible.”

After offering the brief history of the American Civil Liberties Union, Teigen gets to the punch, and this particular uppercut is aimed right for Trump’s bloated gut:

“The President celebrates his 72nd birthday today. On this auspicious occasion, in order to Make Mr. Trump’s Birthday Great Again, each member of our family has donated $72,000 to the ACLU.”

Teigen signs off on the letter “love Chrissy, John, Luna and Miles” bringing the total donation from the family of four to $288,000 on behalf of all of the migrant children who don’t get to spend their evenings tucked comfortably and safely into the arms of their parents.

If you would like to make a donation on behalf of everyone Trump is trying to destroy on the anniversary of the day hell was brought forth to earth, follow Chrissy’s link to make a donation.

It’s much more effective than hoping old age will get to Trump, since he’s six years off of the average life expectancy of an American male.

Of course Russian males are only expected to live to 70, so there might be hope yet…
