An NBC News anchor just taunted the President with an epic list of his own officials who have insulted him

Did White House Chief of Staff John Kelly call President Trump an “idiot?”

Kelly is adamant that he never said that and swears that as a military man he would never have spoken about the president that way, declaring that “this story is B.S.” The president himself was furious about the allegations, raging on Twitter about “made-up stories” from the “fake news” media.

NBC News is standing by its report, and now an MSNBC News anchor has put together a list of White House staff who have insulted Trump’s intelligence in the past to show that this is part of a continuing pattern.

Stephanie Ruhle, who is an anchor on the morning portion of the daily show MSNBC Live, created a list of current and former members of Trump’s administration who have reportedly insulted the president since he took office in January 2017.

Ruhle once interviewed Trump when he was first running for President in 2015 while she was still with Bloomberg News, a job she took after working in the financial industry and on Wall Street.

“John Kelly is not the first member of the Trump administration to call the president names,” Ruhle said, according to The Hill.

Her list includes former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson calling Trump “a moron,” after a meeting at the Pentagon last year, which the former oil company exec refused to deny, saying he would not “dignify” the question.

Then there was the report, also denied, that former National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster during a private dinner with a high tech CEO called Trump an “idiot” and a “dope,” with the intelligence of a “kindergartener,” as reported by BuzzFeed.

Ruhle points out that in the book ” Fire and Fury,” by Michael Wolff, Trump’s former top economic advisor Gary Cohen is quoted as calling the president “dumb as shit.”

In that book, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and former White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus are both said to have referred to Trump an “idiot.”

Despite all the denials, Ruhle said there is a pattern of senior officials insulting the president.

None of this proves much but it is fun to recall what has been reportedly said and to note that most of those who are quoted no longer work at the White House.

Trump is famous for not reading books or even memos that are more than a page long, so his lack of knowledge is not a surprise, but the president has shown a level of instinctual intelligence not unlike that of an animal who has keen survival instincts.

So well all of these quotes may be factual, the fact is this manipulative, lying, deceitful, untrustworthy politician is still president – at least for now – and that is a bigger insult than all of these words about what he lacks.

Now there are rumors Trump may move Kelly from his job as Chief of Staff to run the Veteran’s Administration in the wake of the failed nomination of Trump’s doctor, so if that is true, he may soon have something else in common with others on the list – who no longer report to the White House each day.
