A Fox News poll just confirmed Trump’s worst nightmare about Mueller’s Russia probe

Even Fox News can’t brainwash their viewers enough to think that President Trump will escape Special Counsel Robert Mueller clutches according to the cable “news” network’s own poll released today.

The poll of 1,014 registered voters was conducted this week and provided some surprising results for the Trump-loving network.

The first question of the poll concerned the president’s overall approval rating and garnered Trump a 53% negative score. He didn’t do much better in the results concerning the approval of his handling of various issues facing the country with disapproval outweighing favorable assessments in his handling of immigration, Syria and Russia, and perfectly split scores in his handling of North Korea and the economy.

It was the questions regarding the Mueller inquiry into collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia that resulted in the most remarkable numbers, however, with Fox News finding that 67% of the American people think that it’s extremely, very, or at least somewhat important that Mueller continue his investigation.

Perhaps even worse news for Trump are the results Fox News got for their question, “How likely do you think it is that Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation will find that Donald Trump committed criminal or impeachable offenses?” with 56% of respondents saying that they think Mueller will find enough evidence to recommend charging the president for such offenses.

While that may be good news for Mueller and the American people, get ready for the bad news: 71% of the people polled by Fox News think that Trump will fire Mueller before his investigation is over. That conclusion contrasts with the 64% of the respondents who believe that Mueller’s inquiry has treated the Trump administration fairly.

With a sampling error of plus or minus three points, the latest Fox News poll shows that the American people haven’t been so bamboozled by the network’s own disinformation campaign that the majority of them can’t see what is really going on.
