“Morning Joe’s” Mika just shredded Ted Cruz for sucking up to Trump

Mika Brzezinski, the true brains behind MSNBC’s Morning Joe segment, has never been a fan of Republican Senator of Texas Ted Cruz. Their feud reached new levels today after Cruz penned an essay glorifying Trump, ultimately landing Trump on Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential people list.

Trump is accompanied on the list by a slew of activists, such as LGBTQ icons like Adam Rippon, black media trailblazers like Lena Waithe, and the student activists of Parkland who have kept the country’s attention on the gun debate for a record-shattering two months.

Brzezinski rightfully feels the legacy of the true influencers is marred by Trump’s inclusion on the list, and ripped Cruz to shreds in one simple tweet:

“Senator Cruz, you write in praise of a man who defined you as a liar, deeply insulted your wife and accused your father of plotting the assassination of President Kennedy. I respectfully ask, have you no shame?”

Americans, particularly Texans, seem to know the answer to that questions is “No,” considering how close Cruz’s midterm contender Beto O’Rourke is polling with months left before the primary.

Still, Cruz’s complimentary piece about Trump for the Time magazine list is truly reprehensible, particularly when he celebrates the orange dotard for his follow through on his campaign promise to “disrupt the status quo.”

If by “disrupt the status quo,” Cruz means undermining democracy while playing “whose nuke is bigger?” with Russia and North Korea, and implicate Cruz’s own father in the assassination of John F. Kennedy, then sure, Trump deserve Ted’s endorsement.

Well, Trump didn’t dub him “Lyin’ Ted” for nothing, that’s for sure.
