Yesterday, adult film star Stormy Daniels released a sketch of the man she alleges threatened her in a Las Vegas parking lot. Daniels claims the anonymous thug approached her and her daughter and warned her against telling anyone that she had had an extramarital affair with Donald Trump behind his wife Melania’s back.
The encounter was clearly an intimation that violence could befall her if she went forward with her plan to grant an interview about her Trump affair with an affiliate of In Touch magazine. Daniels claims she never saw the man again but would instantly recognize him if she did.
“I was in a parking lot, going to a fitness class with my infant daughter. Taking, you know, the seats facing backwards in the backseat, diaper bag, you know, getting all the stuff out. And a guy walked up on me and said to me, ‘Leave Trump alone. Forget the story.’ And then he leaned around and looked at my daughter and said, ‘That’s a beautiful little girl. It’d be a shame if something happened to her mom.’ And then he was gone,'” Daniels told Anderson Cooper.

Now, Trump himself has responded to the sketch. He took to Twitter to claim that it’s a picture of a “nonexistent man” and that Stormy Daniels is engaged in a “total con job.” He also slipped in one of his trademark shots at the “Fake News Media,” saying that they have been played for fools.

Of course, between Trump and Daniels, only the former has a proven track record of being a pathological liar who seems not only averse to the truth, but downright allergic to it. Time and time again Trump will make some bombastic statement only for it to be shortly exposed as a complete fabrication.
It’s also worth noting that Trump has largely chosen to remain silent on the Stormy Daniels scandal. Usually, his strategy is to attack and berate his enemies nonstop. His reluctance to do so has led many to believe that he fears Daniels has more evidence of their affair. The fact that he is now tweeting about the sketch suggests that feels himself backed into a corner.

If one were to place bets on the outcome of this scandal, the smart money would be on Daniels being vindicated. Trump is the kind of crook who send a lackey to intimidate an innocent woman and her child. Hopefully, said minion is identified soon and the president is held accountable for his crimes.
