Donald Trump’s entire presidency has been defined by his unhinged, feverish campaign to undermine and erase the legacy of our first black president. He has no real beliefs, no understanding of how to craft good legislation and no real desire to do so.

Attacking Obama’s presidency is an obsession our reality television, conman leader can’t seem to shake, built on the deep and well-founded insecurity that he will never manage to fill his predecessor’s shoes. Today, he returned once again to his deep anti-Obama well to coin and offensive moniker for the former commander-in-chief.

In a tweet as pathetic as any he’s made to date, he thanked Rasmussen for publishing a single poll that shows his historically low approval up to 50%. Trump then claimed that his current approval rating is higher than “Cheatin’ Obama’s” was at the same time during his presidency.

It’s ironic that he chose “cheatin’ given the fact that Obama has never been accused of such behavior, while Trump himself is embroiled in numerous scandals alleging he carried on extramarital affairs behind Melania’s back, most notable with adult film star Stormy Daniels.

Of course, what Trump fails to mention is that most polls still show his approval rating much lower than 50%, with one placing it as low as 38%. People absolutely hate him, not only in the United States but around the world.
Meanwhile, a retrospective job approval rating poll for Obama placed him at 63% just last month. In other words, Americans miss Obama and the days of having an intelligent, civilized, caring man in the White House instead of the incompetent, ignorant boor we are currently saddled with.
Thank you to Rasmussen for the honest polling. Just hit 50%, which is higher than Cheatin’ Obama at the same time in his Administration.
