Slide Fire, the company that developed the bump stock which effectively transforms semi-automatic rifles into fully automatic weapons capable of firing multiple rounds with the single pull of the trigger, is having an Easter sale.
Yes, you heard it right, Slide Fire is celebrating the holiest day of the Christian tradition, the holiday commemorating the resurrection of the author of the expression “turn the other cheek,” by offering a 10% discount on a device that will allow your gun to shoot more bullets faster than ever.

Even as a majority of gun owners are calling for the implementation of sensible gun reforms with a ban on bump stocks on the top of their lists of measures to take immediately, even as President Trump has realized that he’ll have to cave in and issue an executive order to prohibit these heinous devices, the manufacturer is doing everything they can to sell as much of their existing inventory as possible before they are prevented from being able to do so.
Bump stocks came to the attention of the 64% of the American public who do not own guns when the shooter in the Las Vegas massacre last October used the device as he indiscriminately murdered 58 people and wounded nearly 900 people at a country music festival there.
With Attorney General Jeff Sessions already preparing federal regulations to ban bump stocks and Congress mulling legislation that would formalize their prohibition, prices for the devices have risen dramatically as gun owners stock up before they disappear from to the market.
Slide Fire perhaps thinks that they are celebrating the Easter holiday most appropriately by offering such a generous discount on their wares, but if there was ever a time to ask the question “What would Jesus do?” it’s now. It’s difficult to believe that the answer would be to grab the discount while you can still increase your deadly firepower.
