Special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian Federation continues to heat up.
The investigation has already yielded a slew of indictments. Just this past week it was revealed that in the weeks leading up to the 2016 election Richard Gates — the former top Trump campaign aide who has already pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI and engaging in conspiracy against the United States — communicated with someone he knew to be a Russian spy. The future of the Trump administration is crumbling before our eyes, and things are only going to get worse for the corrupt regime.
Today, another dramatic development in the Russia saga unfolded. The Guardian reports that Ted Malloch — who was previously discussed as a possible US Ambassador to the United Nations under Trump — was detained and interrogated by the FBI at Logan airport in Boston right after he touched down in the United States.

Malloch, who has been a repeat contributor to Alex Jones’s far-right, conspiracy theorist, fake news website InfoWars, said that the FBI agents asked him about his involvement with the Trump campaign, as well as his interactions with Roger Stone. They also pushed to find out if he had met with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange at the Ecuadorian embassy in London.
Malloch said the interrogation was intimidating, adding that the agents “seemed to know everything about me.” His phone was confiscated and taken to D.C. for a “full assessment.” He claims his role in the Trump campaign was an informal, unpaid position, that he only met with Stone three times, and that he never went to the Ecuadorian embassy to see Assange. The veracity of his claims has yet to be verified.
The dramatic fashion in which he was apprehended seems to point to an increase in tempo for the Mueller investigation. They’re closing in on their target and more incidents like this are sure to occur in the coming months.
Malloch has been served a subpoena compelling him to testify in front of a grand jury for Mueller in April.
