It’s difficult to conceive of a family more deserving of karmic retribution than the Trumps, which makes the marital issues of the two eldest male Trumps all the more amusing.

While the father fights off three lawsuits from women he’s tried to silence, the younger Donald Trump is dealing with the fallout from his own extramarital affair – and reports indicate he’s not handling it well.

A second stunning new report from US Weekly indicates that not only did Don Jr. conduct an affair with Celebrity Apprentice star Aubrey O’Day, he planned to abandon his wife and his five children to start a new life with her.

Like his father, the younger Trump Jr. did not use condoms and the pair were allegedly trying to have a baby together. Thankfully for the world, they did not succeed, and the relationship ended abruptly in 2012 when his wife, Vanessa Trump, discovered the email exchanges between the two.

A source told US Weekly that Trump Jr. was heartbroken at the failed relationship, calling his ex-mistress over and over again, leaving long, sobbing voicemails about how much he loved her and how he was scared Vanessa was going to “take his kids away.”

On some level, it’s tragic to see this man, who yearns for his father’s approval so desperately, follow in the same skeezy footsteps as Donald Trump did only to learn the hard way that he isn’t quite as cold-hearted a sociopath.

On the other hand, Donald Trump Jr. is a repugnant human being who is using his prominent position as First Son to complain about how there’s too much politicization in Disney movies and to joke about #pizzagate with the right-wing grifters posing as “journalists” and filling social media with toxic fake news, on top of his inherent racism, transphobia, and misogyny.

The spoiled failson scion of a narcissistic monster who has devoted his life to becoming as grotesque a person as his father was, it’s hard to summon up any sympathy for him.
