Trump’s daughter just betrayed him on Instagram by dancing on Republicans’ political graves

President Trump’s daughter Tiffany is back in the headlines Sunday, but not in a way her father will appreciate.

Trump spent the weekend at his estate in South Florida, which is conveniently over a thousand miles away from the nation’s capital where hundreds of thousands of protestors participated in the March For Our Lives.  They joined hundreds of thousands more marching in cities across the country and around the world.

The marchers gather to demand tougher gun control laws in response to the February 14th massacre are Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, just up the road from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home.  Under pressure from the NRA, the president has backed away from supporting common sense measures he initially floated to address the concerns of the survivors during the immediate aftermath of the tragedy.

Not only did Trump physically avoid the protesters Saturday; he avoided them virtually as well, failing to tweet about the March For Our Lives for the entire day.  In fact, he only used Twitter once the entire day of the march, and that was to comment on the hostage situation that erupted in France.

Just when he thought he might be able to avoid the issue that has captivated the country for weeks, his daughter decided to shatter that delusion with a stunning act of defiance.

People Magazine, USA Magazine, and the Daily Mail were among the first to notice that Tiffany “appeared to ‘like’ a photo from her verified Instagram account showing a protester holding a sign that read ‘Next Massacre Will Be the GOP in the Midterm Elections’ at the New York March for Our Lives rally.”

Tiffany – who is the only child born to President Trump and his second wife, Marla Maples – has maintained a much lower profile than Trump’s eldest daughter Ivanka.  Also unlike the other adult Trump children, she’s eschewed joining the family business empire in favor of pursuing law degree.

Though Tiffany is somewhat of an outsider when it comes to the new Trump family business – running this country into the ground – her betrayal of her father’s strategy to heed the NRA’s demand for complete silence regarding the March For Our Lives will not go over well at the next family dinner.
