As a rule, we at Washington Press don’t like to bolster the platform of the #MAGA right-wing. That said, after Trump’s tantrum-filled signing of the omnibus bill this morning, more right-wing die-hards are jumping from the Trump train than passengers on the Titanic – and it’s glorious to watch.

To quickly recap, Republicans and Democrats in Congress and the Senate have been at war with one another since late 2017, when the government shut down over a DACA compromise and a government spending bill.

Yesterday, Republicans once again scrambled, under a shroud of secrecy, to push a final version of the budget through both houses and onto Trump’s desk – and this time, they actually succeeded.
In the wee hours of the morning (otherwise known to Trump as “tweet from the toilet time”), the Maniac-in-Chief fired off this ominous threat:
I am considering a VETO of the Omnibus Spending Bill based on the fact that the 800,000 plus DACA recipients have been totally abandoned by the Democrats (not even mentioned in Bill) and the BORDER WALL, which is desperately needed for our National Defense, is not fully funded.

Not only is Trump continuing to blame Democrats for the end of DACA (which he ended months ago, and promised a fix on which he never delivered) but Democrats also successfully managed to keep Planned Parenthood funded, kept sanctuary cities open, and withheld funding for Trump’s wall.

This means over one year into his presidency, he has only successfully delivered on one campaign promise, the tax cut, the benefits from which will not be experienced until the 2019 tax season – and anyway, the vast majority of those benefits will only fall on the wealthiest of Americans.
Ultimately, Trump signed the bill, all the while looking and sounding like a preschooler who was forced to apologize to one of his classmates.
And the #MAGA-heads are FURIOUS.
Take for example this tweet from Amy Kremer, co-founder and chair of Women for Trump:
We’ve had many Presidents that will go to bat for the military, but never anyone that would truly fight to stop the illegal immigration and build the damn wall. Guess that hasn’t changed.
I’m heartbroken. I thought things were different. But they aren’t. The swamp wins again.

What about Mike Cernovich, a staunch, longtime Trump supporter, who basically handed Congress back to Democrats in his tweet:

Or Jack Posobiec, a conservative Christian #pizzagate pusher who authored Citizens for Trump, when he said:
Have spoken to many high-profile Trump supporters today after bill signing
Not a single one of them think GOP will keep the House now
— Angry GoT Jack (@JackPosobiec) March 23, 2018
Or Cassandra Fairbanks, the infamous Russian Sputnik news writer, who abandoned her liberal ideals for a spot in the Trumplight:
After the past few weeks I’m pretty sure the only way I could possibly be super excited for Trump again is if he pardoned Assange or threw a Clinton or McCain in jail.

Quite possibly the sweetest tweet of all comes from living-skeleton and queen of the bigots Ann Coulter, who quoted Trump from his speech at the podium in this scathing tweet:
“ I will never sign another bill like this again”
Yeah, because you’ll be impeached.

Oh, Donny. It turns out presenting is harder than you thought, isn’t it!
Raise your hand if you’re ready for the midterms!
