Trump’s Playboy mistress just ruined his week with a lawsuit that could do him in for good

President Trump’s extramarital affair scandals continue to spiral out of control. Adult film star Stormy Daniels, real name Stephanie Clifford, has been dominating the news cycle as she pushes to get released from her non-disclosure agreement so she can reveal the sordid details of her sexual relationship with Trump that the two engaged in behind Melania’s back. Unfortunately for Trump, Clifford is just one of his problems.

Karen McDougal, a former Playboy model who also claims she had an affair with Trump, has officially filed a lawsuit to release her from a 2016 NDA she signed, reports The New York Times.

McDougal has targeted American Media Inc., the parent company that owns The National Enquirer, the tabloid that shelled out $150,000 to buy her silence. The owner of the infamous rag is a close friend of Trump’d. Her lawyer, Peter K. Stris, argues that the initial contract was invalid.

“The lawsuit filed today aims to restore her right to her own voice. We intend to invalidate the so-called contract that American Media Inc. imposed on Karen so she can move forward with the private life she deserves,” said Stris.

The more details that emerge about the alleged affairs, the more credible the claims seem to be. Trump has a well-documented history of lechery and sexual predation, so it’s highly unlikely his marriage vows to Melania would have kept him faithful in either of these situations. Jim Rutenberg of The New York Times writes:

“Ms. Clifford and Ms. McDougal tell strikingly similar stories about their experiences with Mr. Trump, which included alleged trysts at the same Lake Tahoe golf tournament in 2006, dates at the same Beverly Hills hotel and promises of apartments as gifts.”

While the entire situation is a public relations nightmare for an administration already in the midst of imploding, it could also carry some big legal problems for Trump, given that there are still serious concerns that hush money paid to McDougal and Clifford represents illegal campaign contributions.

As these scandals continue to grow, it’s worth pointing out at every given opportunity, that the so-called religious right has remained completely silent on Trump’s disgusting behavior. One can only imagine the hell they would have raised if President Obama had been accused of even a tenth of the charges that currently lie at Trump’s feet.

With each passing day, it becomes more and more likely that the Trump administration will topple completely. Multiple women are alleging affairs, special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia continues to hum along, and his cabinet members are mired in a myriad of corruption accusations.

Under normal circumstances, any single one of these issues would be a stunning Sword of Damocles hanging over the president’s head. With Trump, the swords just keep multiplying – and one of them is bound to draw blood sooner or later.
