A Trump fan just called Stormy Daniels a “slut” on Twitter. Her response is breaking the internet

Adult film star Stormy Daniels, real name Stephanie Clifford, refuses to back down from her bombshell allegations that she engaged in an extramarital affair with Donald Trump behind Melania’s back. She also credibly claims that Trump sent his lackeys to buy her silence with $130,000 in hush money.

So far, the non-disclosure agreement she agreed to sign in return for money has prevented her from revealing the full story. Clifford recently launched an online fundraising campaign to help cover her legal fees so she can break the NDA.

Since launching, she has already raised over $272,000 with no signs of slowing. Clearly, Americans believe she has something important to say about the cowardly, lecherous man currently squatting in the Oval Office.

“I need funds to pay for:  attorneys’ fees; out-of-pocket costs associated with the lawsuit, arbitration, and my right to speak openly; security expenses; and damages that may be awarded against me if I speak out and ultimately lose to Mr. Trump and Mr. Cohen,” Clifford explains.

Not content to simply collect the money and use it to beat Trump in court, she’s also maintaining her critical rhetoric of the president. Trump fans have been harassing and swarming her on social media with insults and threats, but she has managed to maintain an optimistic and friendly demeanor, displaying a level of class that The Donald is incapable of mustering.

Today, Clifford sent out a humorous tweet doubling down on her claim that she had sexual relations with Trump. She correctly called him a “goofy reality TV star.”

Clifford also zeroed in on the importance of this entire sordid scandal, namely the fact that Trump lied about the affair, bullied her into silence, and broke the law to obtain it. She ended with a defiant claim that she isn’t going anywhere, before signing off with X’s and O’s signfiying hugs and kisses.

Add your name to tell Trump: We don’t need your fascist military parade in the United States of America!

Clifford was responding to a despicable, misogynist tweet from user @inkedskindawg. Again, she demonstrated how much of a kinder, gentler person she is than Trump and is deplorable acolytes.

As the maelstrom of controversies swirling around the Trump presidency worsens with each passing day, a looming possibility that the president — an avowed misogynist and sexual predator — could be brought down by his ex-mistress carries with it a delightfully ironic tinge.

Clifford has even offered to return the hush money paid out to her by Trump’s hilariously bumbling lawyer Michael Cohen, who used his Trump Organization email for the communications. Clifford’s lawyer Michael Avenatti stated that Trump’s attorney missed the deadline to accept her offer to return the $130,000. Avenatti tweeted that the Trump team should “buckle up.”

It’s hardly a novel observation at this point, but it bears repeating that if President Obama had been accused of carrying on an extramarital affair with an adult film star while Michelle was pregnant right wingers — especially the Evangelical bloc — would have taken to the streets in indignation.

The fact that they are completely silent on the Stormy Daniels scandal shows the rank hypocrisy that infects the Republican Party from the ground up. Hopefully, Clifford goes ahead with her plan to release all of the evidence, so that Trump and his supporters can be properly shamed for their immorality.
