Donald Trump’s extramarital affair scandal is about to get much worse. Adult film star Stephanie Clifford (stage name Stormy Daniels) has been dominating the recent news cycle as she pushes to get released from a nondisclosure agreement she signed with Trump so that she can reveal the details of a sexual relationship she claims the two engaged in behind Melania Trump’s back.
Now, six additional women who claim to have similar stories about Donald Trump’s sexual indiscretions have approached Clifford’s lawyer Michael Avenatti, reports The Hill.
While Avenatti says he hasn’t fully vetted their accounts yet to ensure they’re telling the truth, it certainly wouldn’t come as a surprise if it turns out the lifelong philanderer Trump carried on numerous additional affairs.
Avenatti added that the women’s stories share “striking” details with Clifford’s and that two of the women do indeed have NDAs. Hopefully, if these women end up vindicated, more will come forward with similar stories. Trump must be held accountable for his immoral actions and bully tactics.
That said, even if these women aren’t able to prove their stories — which is an unlikely prospect given the bumbling incompetence of Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen, the man who was supposed to quash the Stormy Daniels story — Clifford herself stands poised to do serious damage to the failing Trump presidency.
So far, the non-disclosure agreement she agreed to sign in return for $130,000 in hush money has prevented her from revealing the full story. This week though, she launched an online fundraising campaign to help cover her legal fees so she can win her lawsuit to break her NDA.
“I am attempting to speak honestly and openly to the American people about my relationship with now President Donald Trump and the intimidation and tactics used against me,” Clifford says in her statement on the fundraising page.
Since launching, Clifford has already raised over $155,000 with no signs of slowing. Clearly, Americans believe she has something important to say about the cowardly, lecherous man currently squatting in the Oval Office.
“I need funds to pay for: attorneys’ fees; out-of-pocket costs associated with the lawsuit, arbitration, and my right to speak openly; security expenses; and damages that may be awarded against me if I speak out and ultimately lose to Mr. Trump and Mr. Cohen,” Clifford explains.
