Trump’s porn star mistress just pinned Trump in a corner with stunning legal ultimatum

The battle between President Donald Trump and his alleged ex-mistress Stephanie “Stormy Daniels” Clifford just took a dramatic turn indeed.

After it became known that the President failed to sign the non-disclosure agreement that Daniels signed in order to receive $130,000 in hush money right before the 2016 election – a transaction that is now part of the Mueller investigation’s probe into Donald Trump and his finances – Trump’s lawyer quickly hit Daniels with a restraining order to keep her silent, which immediately prompted a counter-suit from Daniels.

It would appear that Daniels has had enough of the legal back-and-forth that took place over the weekend and has sent an ultimatum to Trump that puts him in a very tough position.

Daniels’ lawyer, Michael Avenetti, sent a letter to Trump lawyer Michael Cohen this morning that offers to return the $130,000 in hush money to put an end to this nonsense and to restore Daniels’ full rights to tell her tale, which allegedly include some photographic evidence that would be highly embarrassing to the President.

Under Mr. Avenatti’s offer, Ms. Clifford would then be allowed to “(a) speak openly and freely about her prior relationship with the President and the attempts to silence her and (b) use and publish any text messages, photos and/or videos relating to the President that she may have in her possession, all without fear of retribution and/or legal liability for damages.”

Add your name to tell Trump: We don’t need your fascist military parade in the United States of America!

It also allows for the full release of the 60 Minutes segment Daniels filmed this weekend.

If he accepts, he faces the public humiliation of having the affair that he had with a porn star shortly after the birth of his son Barron paraded about for the entire nation to see. One shudders to think about what those “images and videos” contain.

If he refuses, the Times notes, “they could be seen as effectively acknowledging the existence of a continuing effort to keep Ms. Clifford silent about an affair that Mr. Cohen and the president say did not happen.”

The president and his staff have until tomorrow to answer the offer.

No matter how this plays out, the President is due for some seriously embarrassing publicity – and some uncomfortable conversations with his wife and children.

While this certainly won’t be the end of President Trump, you have to admit it is gloriously satisfying to see Stormy Daniels take the Donald J. Trump playbook for managing scandals and turning it right back around on him.

Trump has widely disparaged all of the dozens of women who have accused him of sexual assault and harassment as liars and gold-diggers looking for a quick buck; the poetic justice of having Donald Trump’s treatment of women as objects that exist solely for his own gratification backfire in such a public fashion couldn’t be more on the mark.
