The veterans home in Yountville is one of the largest in the country, housing some 1200 residents.
The nation is barely three weeks removed from the last major mass shooting in Parkland, Florida, where a man used an assault rifle to murder 17 students and injured many more. While the debate over whether or not to do something about the reckless proliferation of firearms in America is beginning to die down as exhaustion and frustration takes over once again, this latest attack on our nation’s veterans is sure to strike a chord with people on both sides of the issue.
This is an ongoing story that will be updated as new information emerges.
