The nation is barely three weeks removed from the last major mass shooting in Parkland, Florida, where a man used an assault rifle to murder 17 students and injured many more. While the debate over whether or not to do something about the reckless proliferation of firearms in America is beginning to die down as exhaustion and frustration takes over once again, this latest attack on our nation’s veterans is sure to strike a chord with people on both sides of the issue.
There have been 41 mass shootings in the United States so far this year.
