Police just dragged Trump’s employees out of a flagship Trump Hotel after intense standoff

In a humiliating public defeat, it appears that President Trump’s business has been forcibly removed from their hotel in Panama, ending a ridiculous twelve-day standoff between the Trump Organization and private equity investor Orestes Fintiklis, who wanted to be well rid of the Trump team and everything associated with them.

Fintiklis fired the Trump Organization from their management contract last year, but the Trump Organization refused to give up physical control of the building and instead decided to dig in, daring Fintiklis to do something about it.

In what we hope will soon be a recurring sight, a police squad just stormed the Trump Hotel in Panama City and forcibly threw out all the Trump Organization members as Fintiklis played a Greek anti-fascist song on the lobby piano to troll the President’s henchmen on their way out.

This is the third hotel to scrub all evidence of their prior association with the Trump Organization since the President’s election. The stunning high-profile skirmishes between Trump lawyers and security against Fintiklis’ team and Panamanian police ensured that this event is yet another humiliating public defeat for the President.

Chronically underbooked and known more for its power outages and occasional interruptions in running water than for its luxury, the Trump Tower Panama project – which went bankrupt in 2013 – is yet more evidence that the President’s vaunted “business acumen” is nothing but big talk from a pathological liar.

“Our investment has no future so long as the hotel is managed by an incompetent operator whose brand has been tarnished beyond repair,” said Fintiklis to his fellow owners in January.

We could definitely say the exact same thing about his management of this country.
