First Daughter Ivanka Trump has repeatedly shown a shameless willingness to excuse her father’s worst behavior. While she was once touted as a possible moderating force in the White House, she has since demonstrated that she is just another of the many heartless sycophants that surround Donald Trump.

Ivanka claims to champion women but completely ignores the numerous, credible accusations of sexual harassment and assault that have been leveled against her father. No reasonable person could believe that all of the accusers are lying, especially given the fact that Trump was caught on tape bragging about sexual assault.

Recently, Ivanka was asked if she believed her father’s accusers. After a long pause, she tried to paint herself as the victim by saying that it was “inappropriate” to ask her such a question.
Not content to leave it at that, she also endorsed her father’s defense by saying that he himself has denied the allegations as if such a statement holds any weight when coming from a man as habitually dishonest as Donald Trump. Not only is Ivanka unwilling to grapple with her father’s predatory behavior, she’s helping him deflect.
Furthermore, given her official role in her father’s administration, the question was certainly fair and appropriate. If you choose to be a public figure, you have to be open to these lines of questioning.

She isn’t simply Donald’s daughter, she’s one of his advisors and wields all the power and responsibility that comes with it. It’s craven for her to play the daughter when convenient, and then play the politico when the cameras aren’t around.

Today, Ivanka once again did her best impersonation of a person who actually cares about other women by taking to Twitter to celebrate the beginning of Women’s History Month.
She mentioned how women write American history but failed to mention the horrific history that she is currently helping to write. She is helping to prop up one of the most aggressively destructive administrations in modern history, and the damage she is helping inflict will take decades to undo.
As we celebrate #WomensHistoryMonth we reflect on women’s incredible contributions to our Nation. We honor women’s legacy of achievements—from pioneering innovations & strengthening our communities to leading in business & politics. Women write America’s proud & thriving history.

Immediately, Ivanka was swarmed by Twitter users calling her out for her hypocrisy. Criticism ranged from her support of her sexual predator father to her abuse of sweatshop in the developing world to run her overpriced fashion lines.
And we also strip away their rights to make choices about their own healthcare and continue to pay them less on the dollar than men for doing often times better work! What a way to honor them!

@IvankaTrump please shut up! Your husband & brothers are criminals and your father grabs WOMEN by the pussy!

Notice she did not name one woman. This is because she cannot. Go make champagne popsicles, Ivanka; leave governing to the adults.

How do you do that with a tweet? How about healthcare? Couldn’t even fund planned parenthood you assholes… Religious groups controlling women’s reproductive rights? Some advisor you are. How much do you care? Sounds like more thoughts and prayers from hypocrites.

Get out of the way. You're blocking women from moving forward.

And you follow in that proud tradition. Just kidding. You're just a plutocrat who parlayed family money, third world sweatshops and stolen intellectual property into a business.
