Omarosa Manigault’s relationship with President Donald Trump has always been, well, odd, and not just because she’s the only African American person consistently in his entourage.
From their early days clashing during the inaugural season of The Apprentice, through the campaign, and then into the White House, observers have tried to understand what dynamic underscored their affinity for each other.
After nearly a year at the White House – where she worked doing, what, exactly, is still unclear – Manigault went back to her reality TV and joined Celebrity Big Brother.
During a recent episode, Omarosa was asked about what it was like to work in the White House – and she didn’t hold back, nearly breaking down in tears as she told her harrowing tale.
When asked why she took the job at the White House in the first place, she said it was because she was “serving her country, not him,” and that she was “haunted by tweets every day. Like, what is he going to tweet next?”
While she’s clearly become disenchanted with both President Trump and his administration since her unceremonious sacking last month, there’s no denying her fondness and dare we say affection for Trump, or that she benefitted from it. But while the mysterious nature of their relationship has been difficult to define, few have ever suspected an explicitly sexual basis for their continued collaboration. Until now.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Omarosa was asked on Celebrity Big Brother by her co-star Brandi Glanville a very blunt question about her relationship with President Trump, and her answer is telling.
“Did you ever sleep with him?” Glanville, a former star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills asked.
“Who?” Manigault responded, somewhat startled.
“Trump,” Glanville said.
“Hell no! Oh, my God. Brandi, that’s horrible,” Manigault said.
Manigault, however, did offer-up some juicy gossip about a former White House colleague that’s sleeping her way through the West Wing, apparently.
“There’s someone in the White House that’s sleeping with everybody, but she is not me… I’ve never had to do that,” Omarosa said.
She has done one thing better than most Trump administration drop outs, and that’s stay in the spotlight for a more-or-less positive reason. Whatever her skills were that qualified her for a job in the West Wing, there’s no doubt that she’s highly adept at extending her fifteen minutes of fame well past the sell-by date.
