A bombshell report from the NY Times today exposes how the Trump White House allowed former Staff Secretary Rob Porter to handle highly classified material, despite multiple allegations of domestic abuse preventing him from obtaining security clearance, because Trump’s staff did not want to draw attention to First Son-in-Law Jared Kushner’s lack of security clearance.
According to today’s NY Times:
People familiar with the security clearance process in Mr. Trump’s White House said it was widely acknowledged among senior aides that raising questions about unresolved vetting issues in a staff member’s background would implicitly reflect on Mr. Kushner’s status, as well — a situation made more awkward because Mr. Kushner is married to the president’s daughter Ivanka.
Kushner and Porter are only two of dozens of White House officials who have not passed the FBI background check necessary to obtain permanent security clearance.
Their high-profile positions, however, have drawn attention to the fact that the White House has left itself vulnerable to high-level security breaches.
Porter, for his abuse, and Kushner, for his foreign real estate dealings, have exposed themselves to the possibility of blackmail by foreign governments like, say, Russia and China.

Kushner left more than 100 foreign contacts off of his security clearance application.

He is a figure of interest in Special Prosecutor Mueller’s Russia inquiry, as the main “back channel” to Kremlin leaders, and as the person in charge of the Trump campaigns data program that increasingly appears to have cooperated with Russian propagandists who helped Trump win in exchange for lifting sanctions.
Meanwhile, General John Kelly, Trump’s Chief of Staff, has protected shady figures like Porter, while also enforcing the president’s racist, un-American agenda.
The fish rots from the head. The criminal sitting in the Oval Office has surrounded himself with characters who are questionable at best, treasonous at worst.
We, the People, must do everything in our power to ensure that Mueller’s investigation sees justice through to its logical conclusion — the impeachment and imprisonment of Trump and his inner circle.
