The president’s turbulent relationship with the First Lady, Melania Trump, was put back in the spotlight recently as the president was once again publicly rejected by his wife for all the world to see.

While on their way to board Marine One helicopter on their way to a speech about Trump’s destructive tax bill, he is seen to grab for her hand – and come up with nothing but air as he discovers that her sleeve was pre-emptively emptied, perhaps to avoid having to engage in a public display of affection with her philandering husband.

This, of course, is not the first time Melania has gone to desperate measures to avoid having to hold the President’s hand. The folks over at the HuffPost have compiled this video of their greatest hand-holding hits – or lack thereof – that speaks volumes about the relationship between the president who represents the “family values” political party and his wife.

The recent media frenzy over the revelations that the President paid porn star Stormy Daniels $130,000 to conceal their alleged “affair” has reportedly sent Melania into a fury, prompting her refusal to travel to Davos, Switzerland for the World Economic Forum and instead zipping down to Mar-a-lago for a little rest and relaxation, some needed respite after her grueling days of…what, exactly, is unclear.
