Russian state TV just celebrated that “Trump is ours again” after he refused to enforce sanctions

The evidence continues to mount that Donald Trump and his campaign colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election.

As special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into the possible criminal activity hums along with no signs of winding down soon, the president has become increasingly desperate. Hoping to delegitimize the probe before it can take down any more of his cronies, Trump has begun to attack the FBI with increasing frequency.

In turn, the Republican Party has shown itself to be infected with rank cowards from top to bottom, as key members of the GOP are now throwing their support behind Trump’s attacks on the FBI, with Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R-WI) going as far as to call for a “cleanse” of the FBI.

With Trump rejecting to enforce sanctions on Russia that passed in Congress with overwhelming support, it’s getting more and more difficult to deny that Trump is helping Putin. So either these Republicans supporting him are in denial and refuse to recognize this apparent fact, or they don’t care about it because Trump will support whatever regressive GOP legislation they push for, or they themselves are compromised as well.

Not surprisingly, Russia is overjoyed by the news. Julia Davis, the creator of Russian Media Monitor reported via Twitter that Russian state media is celebrating Trump’s refusal to implement more sanctions.

“Seemingly, Trump is ours again. So far, he’s being quiet and not supporting the sanctions,” said one host.

“Well, it seems that way,” reported the other host.

In other words, Russia itself is admitting that Trump is working to better their interests over the country he was elected to lead. There is no explanation for him refusing to enforce sanctions that don’t include him doing it for Putin. It’s right out there in the open now, and Congress must take immediate action.
