Trump posed an inappropriate question for McCabe’s wife. Joe Scarborough’s response is spot-on

MSNBC’s Morning Joe host, and former Republican congressman, Joe Scarborough, took to Twitter just moments ago to lambast Presidon’t Trump for his attack on deputy FBI director Andrew McCabe’s wife, Jill, a former Democratic Virginia State Senate candidate.

Scarborough’s criticism came seconds after NBC News released a breaking report elucidating how Trump expressed outrage to McCabe that fired FBI director James Comey had been allowed to fly on an FBI plane after being terminated.

McCabe responded that he did not know who had approved the flight, but, had he been asked, he would have done so.  Trump, after a moment of silence, responded, “Ask your wife what it feels like to be a loser.”

Ever since the exchange, Trump has been fighting to get McCabe fired, along with anyone who investigates his conspiracy with Russia.

Trump’s replacement for Comey, FBI director Christopher Wray, is reported to have threatened resignation over the president’s transparently political motives for ousting those investigating him — even those merely refusing to pledge personal loyalty to him.

Now, Wray has relented and requested that McCabe resign.

Meanwhile, sources have also revealed that congressional Republicans’ attacks against the democratic institution of the FBI stemmed from a coordinated character assassination strategy ordered by Trump.

McCabe is a Republican, as are his fellow Trump targets, Comey, Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller, and more.

But they are also loyal patriots, who put the Constitution before their party.

An erstwhile Republican himself, Joe Scarborough should know what it feels like to have Trump attack the love of his life.

His own fiancée and cohost, Mika Brzezinski, endured a hateful public diatribe from the Misogynist-in-Chief.

Trump is like a cornered animal lashing out against his inevitable capture.  His craven Republican henchmen may postpone his fate, but the American electorate must demand justice be served, and soon.

Let your representatives and Senators know that you will remember, when the November midterms roll around, whether they helped Trump obstruct justice or they stood up for a free America.
