Jim Carrey just called out the entire Republican Party for a “criminal, treasonous” act

Today, the Republican-led House Intelligence Committee voted along party lines to release a classified memo critical of the FBI, hoping to sow distrust in the agency as special counsel Mueller’s investigation into the Trump-Russia scandal progresses.

In a telling move, the Committee also voted against releasing a Democratic counter-memo.

House Intel Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) has been at the center of the fight to release the misleading Republican-drafted memo.

Iconic actor Jim Carrey took to Twitter tonight to share his blunt feelings on the infamous “Nunes memo.”

As Carrey points out, by attempting to politicize the FBI, Nunes is effectively doing Russia’s bidding. Russia, of course, launched a massive misinformation campaign leading up to the 2016 election in favor of Trump. Despite the fact that Americans are growing more and more aware of Russia’s meddling – especially on Twitter and Facebook – Nunes’ blind devotion to the Kremlin’s agenda is especially disturbing.

While the Republican Party continues to dismantle itself in an effort to protect a deeply unpopular President, they will have plenty to answer for at the polls in November.
