Pro-Trump singer just wore the tackiest dress possible to the Grammys

Joy Villa, singer and outspoken Trump supporter, made headlines when she showed up to the Grammy Awards last year donning a “Make America Great Again” dress. This year, she took her fanatical support of the Republican Party to a new level unmatched in its tackiness.

Tonight, Villa showed up to the Grammys wearing a white dress with a rendering of a fetus inside of a rainbow. She also held a bag with the words, “Choose life.”

“I’m a pro-life woman. This year I chose to make a statement on the red carpet like I always do,” Villa said.

“I am totally for President Trump, and it’s only been one year. I can’t wait for the next seven years,” she added.

It’s especially misguided that at a Grammys at which everyone wore white roses to support the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements empowering women, Villa would choose to promote anti-choice legislation aimed at curbing women’s right to choose what they do with their own bodies.

Aside from her Grammys dress headlines, Villa was also in the news after alleging that former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski hit “her on twice on the butt” during a holiday party at Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C.

Lewandowski, for his part, has thus far refused to apologize to the singer.

At the same time, Villa is defending herself amid charges that she, too, slapped a man’s butt at a separate event.

It seems that Villa’s public displays of morality are only selective. With such glaring hypocrisy, she is actually the perfect surrogate for the Republican Party.
