With Trump’s renewed calls for a wall along the southern border comes the scrutiny surrounding this wholly unnecessary, racist, and unpopular expense.
Vicente Fox, former Mexican president and outspoken Trump critic, took to Twitter today to check in on popular sentiment regarding the infamous border wall—and Trump’s urgency to see it through.
.@realDonaldTrump, I was wondering, what's your urgency with building such a wall? America, I need your opinion: LIKE if you think he's really worried about the U.S. security or RT if you think he's in a hurry, because he's failed in every other promise.

At the time of publication, this tweet has more than three times the amount of retweets as it has likes. In other words, the respondents can clearly see that Trump’s wall is nothing more than the result of his desperation for a political win.
Trump may claim that the wall is necessary, but even his acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Thomas Homan, has claimed, contrary to what the President has repeated throughout his tenure in office, that undocumented immigrants committed no more crimes than native-born Americans.
At off-cam WH briefing acting ICE dir. Horman concedes undocumented immigrants do not commit more crimes than native born Americans.

Everyone has always been able to see through Trump’s lies. Now, he’s getting humiliated because of them.
