Despite the fact that lawmakers from both parties were present in Wednesday’s immigration meeting during which Trump made his racist “shithole” remarks about black- and brown-majority countries, the so-called president publicly denies he said what everyone present plainly heard.
Privately, however, the president is taking a “victory lap” within his deplorable base for saying what they all think — that people of color are inferior to white people.
Trump spent last night phoning allies and friends, asking them how they thought the “shithole” remark was playing out in the press. One White House official referred to it as a “victory lap.”

This is why skepticism is warranted on Trump denials and/or muddying of the waters. https://t.co/2pFIEyXpqn

According to CNN White House correspondent Kaitlan Collins, sources close to the so-called president have told her that Trump spent last night talking to his bigoted inner circle by phone, with one West Wing aide calling it a “victory lap” — proving the only Americans this White House cares about are the most racist, divisive, hateful ones.
That is why the State Department has not yet appointed an ambassador to Haiti and many other countries and why they have not yet issued a formal apology to Haiti, all 54 African countries, or to El Salvador and other Latin American countries included in Trump’s discriminatory remarks.

This week’s comments are just more in a long line of racist statements made by this deeply prejudiced man.
Even though Trump and recently-ejected Breitbart white nationalist Steve Bannon have fallen out since the release of Michael Wolff’s exposé Fire and Fury, this latest rhetorical nuclear bomb is taken out of Bannon’s playbook.

It is designed to reach the 30% of Americans who love to hear their bigoted mouthpiece spew out his hate like some federal Grand Wizard of the KKK.
Trump shamelessly lies when he says he didn’t make those remarks, as he did of his remarks before Christmas which classified all Haitians as having “AIDS” and Nigerians as living in “huts.”
Senate stalwart Dick Durbin (D-IL) has set the record straight, elaborating on the Racist-in-Chief’s garbage remarks.

The entire planet is up in arms that the man who should be the leader of the free world is denigrating our foreign allies.
Unfortunately, Trump and his craven minions could not care less what decent Americans or global citizens think of their ignorance.
They only care about the “very fine people” that compose their white supremacist, neo-Nazi base.
By their logic, taking a wrecking ball to the Statue of Liberty would be a “victory.”
