The president of the United States took to Twitter this morning to attack Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) for her stunning decision to release the transcripts of her committee’s interview with Fusion GPS, the research firm behind the infamous “pee tape” Trump-Russia dossier compiled by former MI6 agent Christopher Steele.

The fact that Sneaky Dianne Feinstein, who has on numerous occasions stated that collusion between Trump/Russia has not been found, would release testimony in such an underhanded and possibly illegal way, totally without authorization, is a disgrace. Must have tough Primary!

The leading Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee, Senators Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) have fought to keep the testimony under wraps while they attempt to drum up a “criminal” case against Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson.
The testimony proved that contrary to Republican allegations, the dossier’s creation was not politically motivated and its contents were so concerning that Steele felt the need to warn the FBI about the Trump campaign’s alleged quid pro quo with agents of the Russian Federation.

Her release of the documents was unexpected and perhaps didn’t follow traditional protocols, but any norms were thrown right out the window when the Republican Party declared war upon our intelligence community and embarked on a crusade to discredit the FBI in a desperate attempt to protect a president who is clearly unfit in every sense of the word to occupy the Oval Office.

Feinstein should be applauded for the act of patriotism she committed yesterday – not slandered as being “sneaky,” which is ridiculous on every level.
