Trump just admitted he’s nothing but a stooge on live television

In an unsurprising yet still disturbing turn of events, the President of the United States just admitted that he’s nothing but a stooge for the interests of the wealthy donors and lobbyists who write the policies and legislation for the Republican Party and has no concrete political opinions of his own.

When asked about his personal opinions on the immigration debate, Trump admitted that he just listens to what the people around him say: “I think my positions are going to be what the people in this room come up with. I am very much reliant on the people in this room.”

It’s been quite obvious for some time now that President Trump has no real ideological motivations or any concrete opinions beyond those that directly benefit his personal wealth or feed his insatiable ego.

Utterly uninterested in any political issue that doesn’t involve him, he’s proving to be nothing but a puppet for the Republican donor base to prod and pull as they see fit, as the President is entirely focused on getting back to the things that really matter to him – playing golf and watching cable television.
